The initial deployment was explicitly focused on consolidating field operations, inventory control, finance and farmer self service, with a stated objective of improving operational visibility across multiple units. Cotrisel Brazil Infogen Compass Business Process Management supports the cooperative's need to centralize operational status and transactional visibility for agronomists and producers to view loads and status online. The implementation used functional modules for field operations management, inventory and warehouse control, financial accounting and farmer self service portals. Infogen Compass was applied as a planning and BI capability to enable consolidated reporting and planning across those modules, aligning operational data with decision support workflows. Configuration work emphasized role based access for agronomy staff and producers, and process orchestration for order to load tracking and inventory reconciliation. Operational coverage spanned operations, inventory and finance departments within the cooperative, extending visibility to agronomy teams and external producer users through the farmer self service functionality. Data consolidation across these operational domains was implemented to create a unified dataset for planning and reporting, enabling Infogen Compass to surface indicators and load status to internal and external stakeholders. Integration focus remained internal to the Infogen application suite, centralizing transaction capture and status updates rather than introducing named third party systems. Governance and rollout followed a staged cooperative model beginning in 2014, with configuration and access governance managed at the cooperative level to align finance, operations and agronomy processes. The program emphasized process standardization for load tracking and financial posting to support consolidated reporting and planning, improving operational visibility across multiple units as an explicit outcome. |
