| SAP | Legacy | SAP S/4 HANA | ERP Financial | ERP | n/a | 2016 | 2016 |
In 2016, Cyient implemented SAP S/4 HANA as its ERP Financial platform, establishing a centralized system for core finance and portfolio operations. The deployment used SAP S/4 HANA Version 750 and positioned SAP S/4 HANA to serve financial accounting and operational planning across the Portfolio business unit. Cyient SAP S/4 HANA ERP Financial supported company finance functions in a professional services context.
Configuration work emphasized functional modules aligned to the implementation notes, including Project Systems and Sales and Distribution modules, with standard ERP Financial capabilities applied for general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and period close workflows. SAP S/4 HANA was configured to support budget development and revenue calculation processes referenced by the operations team. The implementation leveraged S/4 HANA configuration patterns consistent with PS and SD integration into financial posting and billing flows.
Operational tooling documented alongside the SAP S/4 HANA deployment included Hyperion and an E3 tool for budget development, revenue calculation, and uploading of budget and forecast data, indicating coexisting planning and consolidation workflows integrated into the finance process landscape. Hyperion was used for budget and forecast uploads alongside S/4 HANA Version 750, and E3 tool usage supported budgeting workflows that feed into SAP financial records. These elements reflect an implementation where SAP S/4 HANA operated together with established planning tools in the finance and operations stack.
Governance and operational ownership were anchored by an Assistant Manager Operations serving as SAP SPOC for the Portfolio business unit in Bengaluru, responsible for configuration oversight, ongoing support, and alignment between finance, project operations, and sales order processes. The SPOC role provided a single point of contact for SAP S/4 HANA configuration, data uploads, and cross-functional workflow coordination across finance and operations teams.

| Workday | Legacy | Workday Absence Management | Absence and Leave Management | HCM | n/a | 2014 | 2014 |
In 2014, Cyient implemented Workday Absence Management as a component of a global Workday HCM program. Workday Absence Management served as the Absence and Leave Management module within a broader deployment that also covered Core HCM, recruitment, benefits, and compensation management.
The implementation delivered configured absence plans, time off calendars, and eligibility rules aligned to Cyient policy, and included process reengineering to align business workflows to standard Workday functionality. The program team led design workshops, defined a testing strategy and cut over approach, and implemented the 9 by 80 work schedule inside Workday as a configured absence and time management pattern.
Integrations and operational connectivity were managed as part of the rollout, including data collection and integrations to existing payroll and benefits administration components, and coordination with the selected travel and expense platform Concur. The deployment was scoped for Cyient global HR operations spanning 21 countries and more than 40 locations, supporting a multinational employee base of approximately 16000 staff.
Governance relied on a centralized PMO and COE style oversight, with vendor partner management, delivery assurance processes, and an ongoing release evaluation cadence to deploy new Workday functionality and address data privacy requirements. Architecture and solution design work included end to end workflows for absence lifecycle management, eligibility, accruals, and compliance controls within the Workday environment.

| IBM | Legacy | IBM Maximo | Enterprise Asset Management | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2017 | 2017 |
In 2017, Cyient implemented IBM Maximo as its Enterprise Asset Management solution. The deployment focused on fleet data and train domain operations, with primary activity centered in Cyient's Hyderabad, Telangana analytics and operations teams; IBM Maximo served as a repository of historical maintenance and asset evidence used by analytics and alert validation.
Configuration work emphasized alerting frameworks, asset data consolidation, and support for analytics-driven alert logic. Data analysts extracted operational telemetry from Fleet Monitor using SQL queries, performed ETL transformations in Microsoft SQL Server and Microsoft Excel, and applied Python for pattern and trend identification to select variables for alert logic. Alerts were developed and configured in Fleet Monitor and ORBITA Enterprise based on analytic rules that were validated against historical evidence in IBM Maximo.
The implementation integrated IBM Maximo with Fleet Monitor and ORBITA Enterprise for alert validation, and with Tableau for visualization while Microsoft SharePoint hosted Operational Release Documents. Data flows moved from Fleet Monitor into SQL Server for extraction and cleaning, then into analytics models and visualization layers, with automated distribution of refined reports using Excel VBA to notify stakeholders.
Governance and release discipline were enforced through Operational Release Documents that detailed data extraction, manipulation, analysis, and visuals for each alert. Releases underwent user acceptance testing in Fleet Monitor, peer review quality checks of ORDs and alerts, and structured training programs for new hires to codify train domain knowledge and process flows, with the stated objective of meeting documentation standards and minimizing release errors.
