In 2014, DAVIDsTEA implemented Microsoft Dynamics AX as its core ERP Financial platform, deploying Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 with AX Retail to support retail and merchandise operations across its store network. The implementation supported a distributed retail footprint across Canada and the United States, and the environment was credited with enabling the company to open more than 25 stores per year with minimal IT issues while maintaining centralized financial and retail master data.
The deployment included an internally developed web based product data management solution backed by Microsoft Dynamics AX via the .NET Business Connector. This PDM was used by the tea development department to create, characterize and deploy new teas, and it served as the product details data source for the company website, as a product knowledge tool for retail store staff, and as a source for SSRS Reports used in marketing collateral. Teams performed analysis, development and ongoing maintenance on Microsoft Dynamics AX, and created and updated SSRS Reports to reflect product and sales data.
Architecturally the solution ran on Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 with SQL Server 2012 as the underlying database, with the .NET Business Connector providing integration between the web based PDM and core AX data. AX Retail POS was extensively extended at the store endpoint level to add nearby stores inventory lookup, scanning code of practice enforcement, and gift and email receipt capabilities, preserving a central transactional hub while distributing custom POS functionality to stores.
Governance and operational scope centered on using the PDM and AX as authoritative product and retail master data, which reshaped workflows for product development, marketing, ecommerce, and store operations. Ongoing AX analysis and development work supported rapid feature development in the retail stack, and the combination of AX Retail POS customizations and centralized product data governance enabled consistent information delivery to customers and staff across the retail estate.

In 2016, DAVIDsTEA implemented Ceridian Dayforce Benefits for Benefits Administration. The deployment introduced new Ceridian Dayforce Benefits modules and components into the retailer's HRIS environment, specifically targeting benefits, entitlements, and self-serve capabilities used by HR and employees.
Configuration work centered on benefit plan setup, enrollment and eligibility workflows, and employee self-service for benefit elections, reflecting standard Benefits Administration functional flows. The implementation explicitly covered pension administration and the employee health benefits program for both the United States and Canada, and included ongoing HRIS upkeep tied to Ceridian Dayforce Benefits.
Governance and operational ownership were assigned to HR, with an HRIS and Benefits Specialist acting as subject matter expert and primary point of contact for benefits, pension administration, and internal escalations. Operational responsibilities included supporting internal customers with benefits and HRIS issues and maintaining the Ceridian Dayforce Benefits configuration throughout the implementation and steady state.

| Adobe Systems | Legacy | Adobe Connect | Audio Video and Web Conferencing | Collaboration | n/a | 2017 | 2017 |
In 2017 DAVIDsTEA deployed Adobe Connect on its website to enable browser-hosted conferencing within the Audio Video and Web Conferencing category. The deployment used embedded session pages on davidstea.com to deliver live audio, video and webinar-style events through Adobe Connect, providing an integrated client experience without a separate desktop client. This implementation positioned Adobe Connect as the primary web conferencing interface for synchronized content delivery and live engagement.
Adobe Connect configuration focused on persistent virtual meeting rooms, participant role management, content sharing, in-session recording and playback capabilities, and templated meeting pages for repeatable events. Operational use cases inferred from the site-based deployment include customer-facing virtual events and structured staff training workflows, with governance centered on access controls, recording retention policies and standardized session templates to ensure consistent store and online execution. The implementation narrative emphasizes Adobe Connect and the Audio Video and Web Conferencing capabilities as core elements of DAVIDsTEA web-hosted engagement and learning infrastructure.
