The project migrated NetApp file systems into the Nasuni environment and integrated Azure blob storage as the primary object store, supporting manufacturing and operations workloads in the United States. Scope covered IT infrastructure and data protection for operational file shares used by manufacturing and operations teams, aligning file access and backup on a single cloud-backed platform.
Governance centered on centralized backup policies and immutable retention controls to strengthen data protection and reduce exposure to tampering, while rollout targeted infrastructure and operations teams for ongoing management. According to Nasuni case materials the implementation reduced file access latency from minutes to seconds and delivered cost, performance, and security improvements.
