In 2010, DR - Danmarks Radio began upgrading its 'Licens' system as part of an Oracle E-Business Suite deployment under the ERP Financial category. The upgrade to Oracle E-Business Suite 12.1.3 initiated a multi year program running from November 2010 to February 2013 in the Copenhagen Area, focused on centralizing core financial and administrative applications.
Work within Oracle E-Business Suite centered on Oracle HRMS self service implementation and extensive configuration of HR hiring flows. The engagement included development of new reports and modification of HRMS to meet DR requirements, using Oracle Application Framework OAF, Oracle Application Platform Framework OAPF and Oracle Workflow to extend and automate hire processes. All development followed Oracle development standards to avoid violations of Oracle support requirements.
The implementation and subsequent maintenance work supported DR's main ERP operational scope, covering licensing workflows and HR and finance business functions, with ongoing projects to maintain and enhance Oracle E-Business Suite 12.1.3. Operational activity was concentrated in the Copenhagen Area and spanned technical support, reporting, and production troubleshooting across HR and administrative departments.
Governance and delivery combined technical advisory to project management with hands on technical roles, including architect, developer and technical project manager. Governance emphasized standards aligned development, staged rollouts for HR self service changes and structured troubleshooting processes for production incidents.
