In 2017 Emirates implemented Xylem Sensus Analytics as an enterprise Analytics and BI deployment to support customer service and contact centre analytics. The deployment was scoped to support Emirates operations that span 44 countries, six contact centres, 17 languages and roughly 2,200 contact centre staff, handling approximately 10 million calls and 1 million emails per year alongside growing webchat volumes. Xylem Sensus Analytics is referenced by name to emphasize the Analytics and BI role in the program.
The implementation included core Analytics and BI capabilities, with configured real time dashboards, historical reporting, multichannel interaction analytics and visualisation for operational performance. Configuration work focused on ingesting interaction level data from telephony, email and webchat channels, modelling workforce performance metrics and exposing configurable dashboards for language and region segmentation. The solution design addressed both scorecard style operational reports and exploratory analysis use cases typical for contact centre analytics.
Deployment used a cloud and premise design option to centralise reporting across Emirates contact centres while allowing local data handling where required. Governance and rollout emphasized standardised report templates, role based access control and phased activation across customer service teams, aligning analytics outputs with existing workforce optimisation and digital engagement processes used by Emirates.
