In 2012, First Canadian Title implemented MicroStrategy ONE Analytics as its first MicroStrategy installation, establishing a new Analytics and BI environment to support reporting and requirements-driven development. The engagement covered installation, education, design, development and management of the MicroStrategy deployment on a Windows Server platform leveraging Microsoft SQL Server RDBMS, with the client positioning the application to centralize analytics and reporting capability.
The initial implementation work was performed by a solitary MicroStrategy implementation specialist who handled installation, server configuration, requirements gathering and initial development, and once core development was underway additional team members were added to supplement delivery. MicroStrategy ONE Analytics was installed and configured at the server level, and development activities included dashboard and report development, environment configuration, and knowledge transfer through education and documentation.
SharePoint administration was implemented in parallel to create a SharePoint site and related business processes to capture and approve business requirements, formalizing intake and reducing requirements churn. The integration between requirements management in SharePoint and the MicroStrategy development lifecycle established a controlled pathway from business requests to analytics delivery, involving both business and IT stakeholders in approvals and specifications.
Governance was enforced through the SharePoint approval workflows and managed oversight of the MicroStrategy servers, with ongoing management responsibilities retained for the installed environment. The engagement explicitly reduced churn associated with prior requirement processes and left First Canadian Title with a managed MicroStrategy ONE Analytics installation supported by documented configuration and an approved requirements governance process.

In 2018 First Canadian Title implemented Hubspot CRM to centralize customer interactions and inbound lead capture through its corporate website, establishing Hubspot CRM as the primary CRM for customer-facing functions. The implementation aligned the application with the company CRM strategy and positioned Hubspot CRM to manage contact and company records across sales and marketing workflows.
Configuration emphasized contact and company record hygiene, deal pipeline management, activity and email tracking, and lead capture from website forms. Hubspot CRM was embedded on the website to capture inbound leads and map form submissions into contact lifecycle stages, enabling standardized lead qualification and handoff.
Integration points focused on website form capture feeding directly into Hubspot CRM, and on automated workflows that standardize task creation and notification routing for sales follow up. Operational coverage centered on sales and marketing teams, with configuration of ownership, pipeline stages, and contact segmentation to support client intake and outreach processes.
Governance established centralized data stewardship and standardized lifecycle definitions within Hubspot CRM, plus workflow automation to enforce handoffs between marketing and sales. The narrative reflects a CRM implementation that is website-integrated and oriented toward improving contact lifecycle management within First Canadian Title.
