| SAP | Legacy | SAP ERP ECC 6.0 | ERP Financial | ERP | n/a | 2014 | 2014 |
In 2014, Fresenius implemented SAP ERP ECC 6.0. The SAP ERP ECC 6.0 deployment addressed core ERP Financial requirements, establishing a centralized financial application footprint to support corporate finance and accounting functions.
The implementation of SAP ERP ECC 6.0 included standard financial modules and capabilities typical of ERP Financial systems, such as general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, asset accounting, cost center and profitability analysis, and treasury functions. Configuration and administration responsibilities emphasized system stabilization, financial master data governance, period close orchestration, and authorization controls consistent with enterprise financial workflows.
Operational responsibility for the SAP ERP ECC 6.0 environment is described in context with administration tasks, and source notes indicate that knowledge of SAP ECC 6.0 administration and Oracle database management is desirable, implying an Oracle database platform for the system infrastructure. Integrations are expected to follow finance-centric patterns linking ledgers, subledgers, and treasury processes, while operational coverage centers on finance, controllership, and accounting teams.
Governance and operational model prioritized centralized IT and finance coordination for system administration, patching, and change control, with role-based access and process governance to support financial close and reporting. The narrative positions Fresenius, SAP ERP ECC 6.0, ERP Financial, and finance and accounting functions in a clear operational relationship for ongoing application administration and financial process support.

In 2017, Fresenius deployed an In-House ATS as its Applicant Tracking System on the corporate careers website. The implementation positioned the In-House ATS as the primary channel for external candidate intake and application processing through the careers portal.
The In-House ATS was configured to support core Applicant Tracking System functions including job requisition publishing, online application capture, candidate profile and resume storage, configurable candidate status workflows, and interview coordination. Recruitment-focused automation and role-based access control were applied to streamline recruiter and hiring manager interactions, while the careers site served as the front-end application entry point.
Operational ownership for the In-House ATS is described as internal, with Talent Acquisition and HR teams operating governance over requisition approval workflows, hiring manager permissions, and configuration of application forms and workflows. Deployment centered on the careers website as the operational scope, with the system serving corporate recruiting and hiring management processes across Fresenius.

In 2023, Fresenius implemented SAP Analytics Cloud. The SAP Analytics Cloud deployment is catalogued under the Analytics and BI category and was delivered as part of a RISE with SAP cloud first architecture supporting the companys move of core SAP workloads to a managed private cloud.
SAP Analytics Cloud was configured to centralize enterprise reporting, planning, and dashboarding to support finance and supply chain decision making. The implementation emphasized integrated analytics and planning workflows to consolidate data from seven ERP production instances and more than 100,000 user accounts. This aligns SAP Analytics Cloud with SAP Integrated Business Planning for Supply Chain and the planned migration to SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition within the program roadmap.
Fresenius moved more than 130 SAP applications from in house data centers to the RISE with SAP private cloud in a 15 month program, enabling SAP Analytics Cloud to consume consolidated ERP and operational data. Capgemini SE worked alongside SAP experts to provide migration testing, validation, and compliance support, while SAP MaxAttention services delivered program management, technical quality management, performance checks, and go live support. The deployment used a managed cloud operating model with centralized security controls, always on surveillance, and predictable cost of ownership to address sensitive patient data governance.
Governance shifted to a managed operating model with SAP handling technology operations, reducing time spent on SAP system administration by 50 percent and lowering IT governance effort by 10 percent. In depth evaluations prior to migration identified over 30 systems for decommissioning, shrinking the IT footprint by 20 percent and improving system response times by 20 to 30 percent. SAP Analytics Cloud now functions as Fresenius SAP Analytics Cloud Analytics and BI for finance and supply chain, supporting consolidated reporting and faster access to operational insights while enabling IT to focus more on business aligned initiatives.
