Analysts developed level, conditional and compound metrics, custom drill maps for drill through, and Visual Insight analysis dashboards to support exploratory analytics workflows.
Operational tooling and integrations in the environment included MicroStrategy Desktop and MicroStrategy Web for development and consumption, and MicroStrategy Integrity Manager to monitor metadata object changes across development environments. The team provided proactive production support for MicroStrategy and other BI and analytics applications, and also produced rich dashboards in Tableau Desktop with user stories to complement MicroStrategy visualization efforts.
Governance activities focused on entitlement and project privilege management, modifying user privileges to enable or restrict power user capabilities and standard user access. Ongoing support covered enhancement of existing projects, issue resolution in production, and end user enablement through training in MicroStrategy Desktop and Web, embedding governance into day to day report lifecycle and release processes.
