Starlims Abbott eScreen was used to manage new hire testing and drug screens, and to generate the screening reports required by HR for onboarding, discipline and termination decision workflows.
Operational context extended beyond screening into adjacent administrative responsibilities held by the regional HR function. Those responsibilities included coding and approval of accounts payable invoices, preparing reports and corporate packets, bi monthly billing tasks, inventory control support and bi yearly inventory counts, while HR continued to use Starlims Abbott eScreen for screening and eScreen processes.
Governance centered on embedding standardized screening workflows into HR processes, with Starlims Abbott eScreen outputs feeding reporting and compliance packets prepared for corporate review. Training and performance evaluation activities for HR staff were included in the operational rollout to ensure consistent use of the BackGround Screening application across the region.

The implementation targeted service orchestration inside the transportation business unit, with a focus on connecting field operations to the central service desk.
The technical design included a custom web application built to integrate Service cloud with Oracle Field Service Cloud, and a mobile application for field technicians. The mobile client was developed using HTML5, CSS3 and Bootstrap as front end technologies, with webservices providing backend data and transaction APIs for incident creation and status updates. Oracle Field Service Cloud was used to receive and schedule incidents created by the mobile and web layers, enabling dispatch and real time technician assignment.
Integrations were explicit components of the project, connecting Service cloud and Oracle service Now to Oracle Field Service Cloud to synchronize incident records and ticket status.
