In 2017 Armani Group implemented SAP Concur Expense for Expense Management. The initiative introduced a centrally administered, cloud-hosted expense report management capability to provide global coverage and to fill a missing-country deployment gap.
The SAP Concur Expense implementation focused on core expense management capabilities including centralized expense report creation and submission, configurable approval workflows, policy configuration and localization, receipt capture and mobile submission, and administrative controls for global and country-level settings. SAP Concur Expense was configured for country-specific tax and per-diem rules and for centralized policy enforcement across corporate and local payroll boundaries.
Operational ownership sat with Human Resources in close collaboration with IT, and the platform was managed alongside other corporate systems such as SAP SuccessFactors and the company Intranet. The deployment covered global employee populations and country offices that previously lacked Concur coverage, with administration responsibilities scoped for ongoing global expense report management.
Rollout governance included needs analysis with the Human Resources department, collaboration with IT for pre-release testing and production release, targeted user training including Microsoft Teams based sessions, and ongoing user assistance and administration of the global expense report management system. The program emphasized structured training, staged testing and production cutover to bring the missing country onto SAP Concur Expense and to centralize expense administration.
