| SAP | Legacy | SAP S/4 HANA | ERP Financial | ERP Financial Management | DataGroup | 2018 | 2018 | In 2018 Granovit implemented SAP S/4 HANA as a focused SAP S/4 HANA project led by DATAGROUP, executed under the ERP Financial category to stabilize core finance and production costing across the business. Granovit AG is a Swiss feed producer with about 200 employees operating three production sites, sourcing raw materials predominantly in Switzerland and selling finished goods primarily within Switzerland. The implementation scope centered on standardizing end to end processes, with redesign workshops for sales, quality management, logistics, production planning, and finance and controlling to align operations to SAP standard processes. The project delivered configured process flows and rapid prototyping for the redesigned workflows, enabling the new SAP S/4 HANA processes to be validated through iterative prototypes and scripted test cycles. DATAGROUP consolidated Granovit’s complex interface landscape and reduced reliance on third party systems where appropriate, implementing the interface topology through rapid prototyping and integrating the new SAP S/4 HANA landscape across all three production sites. The deployment architecture therefore comprised a unified S/4 HANA system landscape that served sales, procurement, production and financial close workflows for site level and company level operations. Governance and rollout followed a carve out timetable of nine months, with cross functional redesign workshops, phased testing and end user training prior to go live. Following cutover the program met its predefined objectives, explicitly achieving MII separation for production integration and delivering higher cost transparency through monthly preliminary and post calculations of production costs. |
