In 2014 GuideOne Insurance deployed TINYpulse Engage as an Employee Engagement application across its United States operations, initiating weekly pulse surveys to establish continuous feedback channels. The rollout targeted IT and broader HR processes, embedding survey cadences into routine people operations to surface anonymous employee sentiment on a recurring basis.
TINYpulse Engage was configured to run weekly pulse surveys with anonymous response collection and leader-facing dashboards for trend analysis and action tracking. Standard Employee Engagement capabilities were used, including recurring survey distribution, aggregated reporting for managers, and prompts for leader follow up, to turn feedback into actionable items within HR and IT management workflows.
The implementation extended across IT teams and into enterprise HR processes in the United States, supporting ongoing dialog between employees and leaders. The program was reported in 2016 to have enabled leaders to act quickly on anonymous feedback, and it was associated with a reduction in IT turnover from approximately 12 percent to approximately 3 percent over an 18 month period.
Governance focused on process changes within HR and leadership review cycles, using the TINYpulse Engage outputs to inform manager action plans and retention discussions. In 2015, GuideOne Insurance implemented MicroStrategy ONE Analytics to centralize enterprise reporting and self-service analytics within its Analytics and BI environment. The work began with structured requirements gathering, including interviews, JAD sessions and observations, producing Business Requirements documentation to build UI views for data surfaced from Guidewire Policy Centre and to support processing workflows for New Business, Renewal, Cancellation, Reinstatement and Billing across Commercial Auto, Crime, Inland Marine, Workers Compensation, Umbrella and Commercial Property Package.
The project delivered MicroStrategy Business Intelligence applications through design, development, implementation and roll-out phases, with configuration of interactive dashboards, operational reports and UI screens that reflect Guidewire customizations. MicroStrategy ONE Analytics was used to model insurance-specific metrics and operational reporting logic, and to provision role-based access and report distribution consistent with underwriting, policy administration and billing workflows.
Integration work explicitly synchronized MicroStrategy screens with Guidewire modules, including Guidewire Claim Center, Policy Center and Billing Center, and the team interacted directly with the Guidewire development group to align UI elements to customized transaction screens. Development and integration work was managed across all phases of the project life cycle, including analysis, design, development, testing, implementation and post-production support, and included feasibility analysis and requirements for enhancements and defects related to the Guidewire claims system.
Governance was driven by formal requirements documentation and project lifecycle controls, supporting defect triage, change coordination and post-production support processes. The implementation narrative centers on MicroStrategy ONE Analytics as the Analytics and BI platform delivering consolidated reporting, embedded UI views tied to Guidewire transaction screens, and operational support for underwriting, claims and billing functions.
