The build included hands-on work with REST and SOAP APIs to support interfaces to upstream and downstream systems and to automate data flows into Oracle Cloud ERP. Governance responsibilities rested with the Solution Owner role, which covered functional design authority, configuration administration, data migration oversight and report governance across the Group finance function. Operational coverage was centered on the Financial Department and adjacent finance processes, aligning procure to pay, receivables accounting, fixed asset accounting, tax and cash management workflows into the Oracle Cloud ERP environment.

Governance for the implementation included a Solutions Architect–led business case and program oversight, with implementation controls to sequence core HR and payroll capabilities before advanced modules such as Intelligent Advisor and Digital Assistant. The rollout targeted the Financial Department scope, aligning HR process ownership and change management with the Finance organization to embed HR operations into the enterprise cloud platform.
