| Bill4Time | Legacy | Bill4Time | Legal Time and Billing | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2009 | 2009 | In 2009, H F Law Firm began using Bill4Time to centralize Legal Time and Billing for the firm's finance and billing operations. The firm adopted Bill4Time soon after the practice was founded to capture detailed time entries, support LEDES exports for corporate clients, and integrate billing with QuickBooks. Bill4Time was configured to enforce detailed timekeeping and invoicing workflows, including structured time entry templates, invoice generation and LEDES export formatting to meet corporate spend-management requirements. Integration with QuickBooks was implemented to synchronize billing records and invoice data between Bill4Time and the firm accounting ledger. The implementation concentrated on the core Legal Time and Billing functional modules of time capture, billing rate application, and client matter invoicing. Operationally the solution was used within the finance and billing area to standardize invoicing for corporate clients and to maintain LEDES compliance across engagements. Bill4Time provided the firm with faster invoicing cycles and compliance with corporate spend-management formats according to the Bill4Time profile. Governance emphasized timekeeping discipline and standardized invoice templates to support corporate client requirements. |
