Darwinbox Legacy Darwinbox Core HR Core HR HCM n/a 2020 2020
In 2020, Hero FinCorp implemented Darwinbox Core HR, a Core HR application, to centralize HR operations for its roughly 8,000 employees. The program was led by an internal Program Manager accountable for HR, finance, and legal projects, positioning Darwinbox Core HR as the primary HRMS platform for the organization. Darwinbox Core HR was configured to handle core employee lifecycle management, including recruitment and onboarding, organizational and position management, time and attendance, performance management, and HR analytics and reporting. Configuration work focused on role based access, configurable approval workflows, and automation of routine HR processes to align with banking sector control requirements. The deployment was executed company wide across Hero FinCorp India operations and was implemented alongside SAP Concur for reimbursement processing and a vendor onboarding tool for supplier and third party records. Integration work tied Darwinbox Core HR workflows to reimbursement routing and vendor data flows, and coordination with concurrent finance and legal programs ensured consistent master data and approval trails across systems. Governance and rollout emphasized change management led by the Program Manager working with vendor customer success teams, targeted user training to drive adoption, and the introduction of centralized reporting dashboards to streamline function level reporting. Process standardization, analytics driven usability, and cross functional stakeholder alignment across HR, finance, and legal defined the operational governance model.

Nucleus Software Legacy FinnOne Neo Customer Acquisition System (CAS) Loan Management ERP Services and Operations n/a 2018 2018
In 2018, Hero FinCorp implemented Nucleus Software FinnOne Neo Customer Acquisition System CAS to standardize Loan Management workflows across its retail lending operations. The deployment focused on retail operations in India, with explicit operational coverage of two wheeler loans and other retail products managed by the company’s retail operations teams. The FinnOne Neo Customer Acquisition System CAS was configured to support core modules for disbursement processing, negotiable instrument system entry, repayment instrument registration, post-dated cheque queries, and lending authorization workflows. Configuration included stage reversal handling for exception cases, scripted quality checks for negotiable instruments, and process steps to register and re-register repayment instruments, reflecting typical Loan Management functional flows. Operational teams used the application alongside Omniflow ticketing for exception tracking and stakeholder escalations, and coordinated registration and follow ups with third party registering bodies such as TPSL, CITI, CAMS and multiple bank partners. The implementation covered end-to-end interactions between sales support, operations, collections and reconciliation teams, enabling in-system presentation of payment instruments and bank reconciliation activities. Governance and operational process changes were formalized around Turn Around Time commitments and quality control gates, with staff executing soft collections activities including promise to pay calls from within the system. The deployment supported high-volume operational events recorded during the period, including disbursement throughput peaks of up to 800 cases in a single day and participation in a Technical Bounce project handling nearly 5000 cases, demonstrating the system’s role in scaled Loan Management operations.
