In 2025 HMM implemented SAP S/4 HANA and went live on SAP S/4HANA Cloud in the first quarter, aligning the deployment with the ERP Financial category to centralize enterprise finance functions. The implementation centers on SAP S/4 HANA as the core financial system, and the first quarter go-live marks the completion of the cloud cutover for HMM's finance domain.
The project focused on standard ERP Financial capabilities typical of an S/4 HANA cloud deployment, including general ledger accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, management accounting and financial reporting. Configuration attention included chart of accounts harmonization, financial master data consolidation and cloud-native financial close and reporting workflows to support statutory and management reporting needs.
Deployment architecture is SAP S/4HANA Cloud, which places ERP Financial processing into a cloud service model and enables centralized financial transaction processing and consolidated financial data stores. Operational scope targeted HMM's corporate finance and accounting functions, standardizing core financial processes across the organization in support of month-end close and financial control activities.
Governance and rollout were executed to support a cloud-first finance operating model, with new process workflows and centralized master data governance implemented alongside the S/4 HANA deployment. The go-live in the first quarter of 2025 positions HMM to leverage ongoing SAP cloud updates and continuous innovation within the ERP Financial footprint.

In 2025 HMM deployed BIPO HRMS as a Core HR application to centralize employee master data and streamline HR operations across its Singapore and Southeast Asia branches. The deployment was coordinated by regional IT support and HR teams, with IT leadership providing systems operations, standard operating procedure compliance, and local rollout coordination.
BIPO HRMS configuration prioritized core HR capabilities, including employee records management, onboarding and offboarding workflows, and biometric attendance capture tied to face scanner hardware. The implementation aligned HR process automation with workstation provisioning practices, leveraging system imaging and preconfigured software packages to reduce manual setup during new hire onboarding.
Integrations were implemented to support user account and access control handoffs to IT, enabling account provisioning and deprovisioning workflows that affected Microsoft 365 and UCM phone setups under IT operations responsibility. Face scanner integration was explicitly supported, and IT maintained server and network services, Synology NAS storage, and ITSM ticketing to ensure operational continuity for the HRMS and connected endpoints.
Governance emphasized SOP compliance, IT asset lifecycle management, and collaborative process refinement with headquarters, with IT managing incident queues and root cause analysis for HRMS-related issues. Operational outcomes reported by IT included streamlined workstation setup and identification and resolution of workflow inefficiencies, achieved through combined HR and IT process changes during the BIPO HRMS rollout.

| Bolero | Legacy | Bolero Galileo Platform | Blockchain Platform | Blockchain | n/a | 2021 | 2022 |
In 2021, HMM implemented the Bolero Galileo Platform, a Blockchain Platform, to introduce Electronic bill of lading capability for its customers following a successful pilot using a live shipment. The implementation is positioned to allow HMM customers to receive bills of lading electronically without change or disruption to established day to day commercial shipping workflows.
The Bolero Galileo Platform was provisioned as a web based portal and cloud hosted service, configured to deliver Electronic bill of lading functionality, secure ownership management, and document governance. Core capabilities implemented include issuance and transfer of electronic bills of lading, cryptographic custody controls, and a legally governed ownership record, all presented through Bolero Galileo Platform user workflows.
The deployment aligns with carrier and trade financing industry standards and regulations, and the platform is recognised by banks and the global trade community, including approval by the International Group of P&I Clubs. Operational coverage centers on HMM customer-facing shipping processes for commercial container shipments and the global exim trade, with explicit intent to reduce friction in cargo flows during trade disruptions, such as the COVID 19 pandemic.
Governance and workflow changes emphasize secure digital title management under a globally accepted legal framework, preserving existing customer operational practices while shifting document custody and exchange to the Bolero system. Rollout messaging and configuration were structured to minimize operational change for shippers and banks, with HMM positioning the system to reduce administrative handoffs and paper movement in trade documentation.
HMM communicated that the Bolero Galileo Platform is simpler, faster, and more reliable than paper based bills of lading, and that the Electronic bill of lading solution reduces risk, cost of administration, potential delays and exposure to fraud, delivering a globally trusted digital alternative. The public statement highlights the successful live shipment pilot as the validation step preceding broader customer availability of the Bolero Galileo Platform.
