| Adobe Systems | Legacy | Adobe Experience Manager | Digital Asset Management | Content Management | n/a | 2020 | 2020 |
In 2020, HostPlus implemented Adobe Experience Manager as its Digital Asset Management solution. The Adobe Experience Manager deployment centralized management of digital assets used by the HostPlus website, mobile app, and Member Online and supported the Digital Marketing function responsible for member communications and campaign execution.
The implementation emphasized core Digital Asset Management capabilities, including a centralized asset repository, metadata taxonomy and tagging, automated renditions and derivative generation, versioning, and workflow orchestration for asset approval and publishing. AEM configuration incorporated asset lifecycle management, role based asset access controls, templated content fragments and approval workflows to accelerate production of marketing creatives and compliance artifacts.
Architecture aligned to cloud hosted services with Azure preferred for compute and identity, and an API layer managed according to Azure API Gateway patterns to expose assets and metadata to downstream systems. Integrations were established with marketing and analytics tooling such as Marketo, Adobe Analytics, Launch Tag Manager, and Google Tag Manager to feed campaign assets and tracking, while CI/CD processes used Azure DevOps for source control and release pipelines supporting mobile app distribution to Google Play and the Apple App Store.
Operational governance was structured around the Digital Support function, with defined incident and problem management workflows, Change Advisory Board driven change control, Business Verification Testing for releases, vendor performance reviews, daily system health monitoring, monthly patching and upgrade cycles, and periodic security reviews and system hardening activities. This operating model placed the Digital Marketing team, third party suppliers, and Technology teams in a coordinated support structure for asset onboarding, approval, and delivery across HostPlus digital channels.
