The integrated approach reduced point to point interfaces by routing cross-application integration through the ION BODS layer. Operational scope included finance, maintenance, inventory, and purchasing functions across the 13-country footprint, with rollout sequencing driven by common process design and consolidation objectives. Governance centered on centralized process ownership, standardized configuration controls, and cross-country master data governance to maintain the common design. The implementation positioned Infor SunSystems as the financial control plane within the broader INFOR Cloud Suite ERP Financial solution.
