| SAP | SAP ERP ECC 6.0 | SAP S/4 HANA | ERP Financial | ERP | n/a | 2022 | 2023 |
In 2022, Inditex migrated from SAP ERP ECC 6.0 to SAP S/4 HANA to consolidate its ERP Financial landscape. The SAP S/4 HANA implementation targeted core finance and controlling functions, creating a single-platform approach for Inditex finance operations across its multinational footprint.
The implementation focused on the FI and CO modules, with configuration and customization work centered on general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, asset accounting and controlling ledgers. SAP ABAP analysts were engaged to develop and sustain customizations, support batch and real time interfaces, and provide ongoing maintenance and incident resolution for the FI/CO modules.
Integrations were implemented to establish communications between SAP S/4 HANA and external systems and databases, using IDOCs, Web Services and SAP Process Orchestration PO for interface orchestration. The deployment leveraged the SAP S/4 HANA application stack on the SAP HANA database, with ABAP-driven interface logic and service endpoints to manage data exchange and transactional consistency.
Operational governance centered on a rollout program for the FI/CO modules, with dedicated support and incident management workflows to stabilize post go live operations. The program encompassed configuration governance, release controls for transport management, and ongoing support and maintenance processes to sustain SAP S/4 HANA as Inditexs ERP Financial system.

| In-House Applications | Legacy | In-House ATS | Applicant Tracking System | HCM | n/a | 2016 | 2016 |
In 2016, Inditex deployed an In-House ATS Applicant Tracking System on its website. The In-House ATS is implemented as a web-embedded recruiting platform on the corporate careers site to capture candidate applications, publish job postings, and manage applicant workflows. The application centralizes job requisition posting and application intake within Inditex’s in-house application portfolio, providing HR and talent acquisition teams with administrative controls and candidate lifecycle visibility. The deployment is owned and maintained internally by Inditex IT and HR operations, with the careers site as the primary user interface for external candidates.
Functional modules implemented mirror standard Applicant Tracking System capabilities, including requisition and job posting management, application intake and candidate tracking, resume parsing and profile creation, interview scheduling and status tracking, and recruiter-facing reporting dashboards. The system is configured to run through the careers website, embedding application forms and candidate portals while exposing administrative interfaces for recruiters and hiring managers. Governance centers on in-house configuration control, role based access for HR users, and coordinated IT and HR operational responsibility for configuration changes and hiring workflow updates.

In 2015, Inditex implemented SC Trade Bitacora ERP as a Distribution ERP to standardize and automate logistics operations. The initiative targeted paper elimination and the migration of manual procedures to automated processes across the retail group’s logistics functions.
SC Trade Bitacora ERP was configured using fully parameterizable modules aligned to logistics and distribution workflows, including warehouse management, inventory control, order management, transportation planning, procurement workflow orchestration, and operational reporting. The SC Trade Bitacora ERP configuration emphasized automation of transactional tasks and rule-based process controls to reduce manual data entry and human error.
Operational coverage focused on distribution centers and freight handling activities, aligning warehouse execution with inventory reconciliation and order orchestration within the Distribution ERP layer. The deployment profile accommodates a range of site requirements, reflecting the product’s positioning for both SME and large enterprise logistics operations and existing adoption by large logistics customers such as FedEx, TNT, Blue Water Shipping, and Global Cargo System.
Governance concentrated on parameter governance, process standardization, and staged rollout across logistics teams to migrate paper-driven procedures to automated workflows. The implementation narrative highlights elimination of paper and a reduction of the carbon footprint as stated by the vendor, while preserving configurability to meet evolving operational needs.
