Anthology Legacy CampusNexus HCM Core HR HCM n/a 2013 2013
In 2013, Inspector-General Emergency Management implemented CampusNexus HCM in the Core HR category. The CampusNexus HCM application was embedded to support the Office’s operational human resource and related financial activities as part of a broader modernisation of planning and reporting tools. The implementation focused on Core HR workflows and configuration to centralise employee records, workforce management and performance reporting. CampusNexus HCM was used in day-to-day HR processes to create efficiencies in operational human resource activities and to feed single source personnel information into broader planning processes. CampusNexus HCM was operated alongside Aurion and Fraedom, and aligned with newly implemented project management software and business intelligence tools to enable more integrated strategic, financial, operational and performance planning. Integration points were organizational and process oriented, supporting HR, finance and program teams across the Office of the Inspector-General Emergency Management, a small agency with approximately 20 staff. Governance emphasis during rollout targeted a single point-of-truth for performance reporting and more robust systems to capture accurate data for monitoring and assurance activities. An employee opinion survey conducted in September 2018 recorded a positive result for innovation at 85 percent, reflecting user sentiment during the period in which CampusNexus HCM was embedded in business processes.
