In 2020, Irsa deployed InvGate Assets to centralize hardware and software inventory and administration, using the application to support Hardware Asset Management (HAM),Software Asset Management (SAM),IT Asset Management (ITAM),SaaS Spend Management. The deployment is tied to the Mobile Platforms and Microinformatics Analyst function at Irsa Investments and Representations SA, with administration and operational ownership recorded from September 2020 to recent.
InvGate Assets was configured to maintain updated inventories of existing hardware and software, capture asset lifecycle records, and document periodic maintenance activities. The implementation supported explicit workflows for management of technological equipment replacement, documentation of processes, and delivery of user training for the use of tools, and it recorded authorizations to exit and enter the central store for systems teams.
The InvGate Assets instance was integrated with Airwatch for mobile device administration, enabling coordinated inventory and mobile endpoint management between asset records and device provisioning. Operational coverage included systems teams, supplier management and store operations, with the analyst responsible for preparing and managing authorizations, supervising supplier tasks, and participating in the introduction of new technologies.
Governance and process changes focused on documented procedures, regular maintenance scheduling, and training to embed inventory discipline into IT and operations workflows.
