Microsoft Dynamics NAV was used alongside the Company’s accounting programs Brink and Crunchtime to generate ad hoc reports and unify store sales data. The accounting processes reconciled delivery sales and cash receipts originating from Seamless and Grubhub and incorporated bank and credit card reconciliations to align point of sale and payment data with the general ledger. Operational coverage spanned store level sales by location and employee and corporate finance consolidation for company management reporting. Governance centered on supporting the CFO and Controller with month end close controls, weekly cash over/short review and standardized reconciliations to feed quarterly compilations and year end audit procedures. The accounting team used Microsoft Dynamics NAV outputs to assist with a New York State Sales and Use Tax Audit and to support external auditors during quarterly and year end work. Processes emphasized consistent reconciliations of sales by store and delivery channel to maintain financial statement disclosure accuracy.
