The deployment was positioned to centralize transaction processing and to formalize wholesale process flows that impact Supply, Retail and Financial processes.
The implementation configured SAP ERP ECC 6.0 to handle core financial capabilities and wholesale business workflows, including general ledger and financial posting, accounts payable and receivable, invoicing and settlement, and order-to-cash and procure-to-pay process orchestration. Governance and operating model changes were implemented through the IS B2B / Partners Competence Center, which centralized change control, interface ownership and process standards for wholesale, supply and retail financial flows.
