Asseco Group Legacy Asseco PUB 2000 Core System Core Banking ERP Services and Operations Asseco South Eastern Europe 2020 2020
In 2020, NLB Banka Montenegro implemented Asseco PUB 2000 Core System. The bank engaged Asseco South Eastern Europe to migrate its card operations and upgrade its acquiring network, concentrating on card processing, authorization throughput, and acquiring switch capabilities. The implementation centered on Asseco's CMS Card Management System as a modular component of the Asseco PUB 2000 Core System, with configuration work covering card issuance and lifecycle management, authorization routing, and 3D security authentication. Processor integration and acquiring switch configuration were executed to support expanded ATM and merchant acquiring connectivity. Operational integration tied the CMS to the bank's acquiring network and payment processors, improving processing speed and enabling enhanced 3D security across card transactions. The scope of the rollout included card operations, ATM and acquiring operations, and payments processing, impacting operations, payments, and risk management functions within the bank. Governance and rollout were coordinated between NLB Banka Montenegro and Asseco South Eastern Europe, with phased cutover, testing, and operational handover to update procedures for card operations and acquiring settlement. The migration and processor integration improved processing speed, enabled enhanced 3D security and supported an enlarged ATM/acquiring network to increase operational efficiency and revenue.
