Intuit Legacy Intuit Quickbooks Enterprise ERP Financial ERP x 2010 2010
In 2010, NorthStar Anesthesia implemented Intuit Quickbooks Enterprise to consolidate corporate financial operations. Intuit Quickbooks Enterprise, classified as ERP Financial, was provisioned to centralize general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting for the company finance organization. The implementation included configuration of the chart of accounts to reflect clinical service lines, job costing controls for anesthesia service billing, fixed asset tracking, and fiscal period controls. The deployment used role based access and user permissions to enforce segregation of duties between finance, billing, and procurement teams. Architecture was structured around a centralized company data file with a multiuser server installation supporting concurrent access from finance and billing workstations across the United States. Backup routines, audit logging, and data export capabilities were configured to support month end close and external reporting workflows. Governance was anchored in finance leadership, formalizing accounts payable approval workflows, receivables collection processes, and standardized month end close checklists. Training and documentation were focused on corporate finance and billing operations to operationalize ERP Financial procedures and controls.

iCIMS Legacy iCIMS Recruit Applicant Tracking System Applicant Tracking System HCM n/a 2017 2017
In 2017, NorthStar Anesthesia implemented iCIMS Recruit Applicant Tracking System to centralize and scale its recruiting operations. The deployment targeted corporate recruiting, HR operations and regional recruiting teams supporting more than 200 facilities across more than 20 states and nearly 2,400 providers, positioning the iCIMS Recruit Applicant Tracking System as NorthStar Anesthesia recruiting hub. The implementation leveraged iCIMS products for Applicant Tracking and Candidate Relationship Management, with configuration focused on resume parsing, candidate tagging, email template automation, pipeline management and enhanced reporting and compliance workflows. Recruiters were enabled to capture rich candidate notes, identify duplicates more reliably and maintain proactive talent pipelines, while automations reduced manual data entry and improved candidate-facing workflow consistency. iCIMS was integrated with Workday HCM for core HCM and payroll, creating a connected handoff between recruiting and HR operations and allowing the HR team to audit and verify new-hire data. This integration supported more accurate new-hire records and provided the operations team with centralized access to recruiting metrics previously unavailable in the former recruiting environment. Governance and process changes included centralizing requisition and pipeline reporting, eliminating spreadsheet-based tracking, and formalizing recruiter and hiring manager workflows for dispositioning and compliance tasks. The recruiting function moved from ad hoc reporting to scheduled position-filled and pipeline status reports, which improved cross-functional visibility and operational accountability. Explicit outcomes reported after the iCIMS Recruit Applicant Tracking System deployment included a 50% increase in positions filled per month, a 40% decrease in physician vacancy, and more than 20 hours of productivity gained per recruiter per day. The project also delivered improved new-hire data quality, reduced manual processes and higher organizational confidence in recruiting metrics.
