Velosi VAIL-PLANT was customized to provide scheduling, prioritization and execution workflows for inspection plans, and to support database management and structured data collection for risk assessment. Key functional modules implemented included PEMS, PIMSON, PSVMS, WHIMS and ISMS, which together formed the core Asset Integrity Management System and supported pressurized equipment management, pipeline integrity, pressure safety valve tracking, wellhead integrity and inspection schedule management.
The implementation combined software provision with associated professional services, including the conduct of RBI and FMECA studies, preparation of maintenance plans, and the creation of inspection guidelines. The program delivered Standard Operating Procedures for safe execution of inspection activities, and on-site training to develop designated staff capability to operate Velosi VAIL-PLANT and sustain inspection planning and data collection processes at GB facilities.
Governance was formalized through the delivery of RBI Study documentation, the FMECA Study and Maintenance Plan, SOPs, and the operational ISMS module to manage inspection schedules. The engagement emphasized procedural controls, inspection governance and operator training to embed the new Enterprise Asset Management workflows into ongoing asset integrity operations at the Groupement Berkine HBNS and El-Merk sites.
