In 2019 OneZero deployed Onit Axdraft CLM for Contract Lifecycle Management as a centralized document automation and drafting platform to address the high volume and strict quality standards of its supporting contract library. OneZero is a fintech firm building trading and post-trade infrastructure and installed Onit Axdraft CLM to standardize contract presentation and speed drafting across corporate legal and commercial workflows.
The Onit Axdraft CLM implementation focused on configurable template libraries and automated drafting for Master Service Agreements, addendums, legal letters, and termination agreements, preserving document styling and concise language requirements. Configuration work emphasized clause-level reuse, standardized variables, version control, and approval routing, enabling a repeatable document workflow while retaining editorial control and visual consistency.
Operational scope covered legal, commercial contracting, and trading support teams within OneZero, aligning contract creation with existing operational processes for execution and post-trade support. The deployment did not specify external system integrations, instead acting as a centralized authoring and template governance layer for contract production.
Rollout and governance were executed rapidly, with a reported launch time of five days, and included template governance, controlled change management for clause libraries, and defined approval workflows to manage document versions. OneZero planned and automated approximately 600 documents as part of the initial Onit Axdraft CLM program.
Reported outcomes from the engagement include a reduction in average drafting time from 60 minutes per document before implementation to 4.2 minutes per document with Onit Axdraft CLM, while maintaining the company requirement for precise and readable contract documents.
