In 2017, Park Square Capital went live on S&P Global thinkFolio (ex IHS Markit thinkFolio) to centralize its front and middle office portfolio and order management workflows. The deployment targeted the firm’s credit investment operations in the United Kingdom, with the application implemented as a Portfolio and Investment Management platform to support portfolio modelling and position-level controls.
S&P Global thinkFolio was configured for portfolio modelling and construction, cash management, compliance, and automation of trading and trade approval processes. The implementation covered order management and portfolio analytics capabilities, and was used to produce full portfolio NAV and reporting while enabling instrument level analytics required by credit investment teams.

Park Square also went live on IHS Markit’s ClearPar electronic loan trade processing platform to ensure efficient settlement of par and distressed loan trades, creating end-to-end connectivity across trade capture, settlement, and position lifecycle management.
Governance was extended by embedding existing compliance controls into thinkFolio workflows, making approval and compliance checks systemic to trade and portfolio processes. The firm characterized the project as completing its front-to-back-office IT transformation and stated the deployment would deliver operational efficiencies across the investment management lifecycle while supporting advanced analytics and streamlined trading and settlement.
