In 2019 Procter & Gamble UK implemented SAP S/4 HANA as its ERP Financial platform. The corporate program included a focused data and analytics track, where a Senior Data Architect led the design and deployment and delivered integration of billions of records within three months, establishing the data foundation for financial reporting and analytics.
Implementation work centered on enterprise data architecture and financial master data consolidation, with explicit emphasis on efficient data flow and storage to support transactional financial workflows. SAP S/4 HANA was configured to support core ERP Financial functional terminology including general ledger consolidation, accounts payable and receivable workflows, financial close orchestration, and financial reporting interfaces, while also addressing supply chain and ESG data management requirements.
Operational coverage targeted financial, supply chain and ESG data domains across Procter & Gamble UK, with the Senior Data Architect maintaining governance over data ingestion, storage topology and analytics integration. The project architecture prioritized high throughput record ingestion and corporate reporting readiness, and governance activities focused on stabilizing master data processes and aligning data flows to downstream analytics and reporting consumers.

| Workday | Legacy | Workday Absence Management | Absence and Leave Management | HCM | n/a | 2020 | 2020 |
Procter & Gamble UK deployed Workday Absence Management in 2020 to centralize absence tracking and leave workflows as part of its Absence and Leave Management capability for HR and payroll functions. The implementation targeted companywide annual leave, absence and sickness reporting and explicitly supported the London plant payroll process for over 650 employees.
Workday Absence Management was configured to handle contractual changes, employee transfers, promotions, maternity and paternity leave, terminations and retirements, and to support case work related to disciplinary hearings and grievances. Functional configurations included leave type definitions, request and approval workflows, absence reporting, and role-based access for HR specialists and managers. The HR team developed internal training and an absence management program to standardize manager approvals and operational handling of leave cases.
The implementation integrated operational reporting with Workday data exports consumed in Microsoft Excel and Power BI for monthly reports on headcount, absence, attrition and sickness. Time and Attendance source systems SAP and Workforce were used to capture and authorize timesheets, with Workforce data integrity maintained through regular audits and issue tracking via ServiceNow. The rollout covered HR, payroll and people managers, feeding manager and director level reporting while interfacing with local payroll processing for the London site.
Governance included manager training on time and attendance, ongoing data audits, policy updates and a ServiceNow-driven defect and enhancement workflow to the development team. Explicit projects and achievements tied to the Workday Absence Management deployment include building two in-house HR programmes for onboarding and absence management, leading development of an Employee Exit Tool on Microsoft SharePoint, and acting as the London plant representative for the company benefit portal Perks at Work.

| Oracle | Legacy | Oracle OBIEE | Analytics and BI | Analytics and BI | n/a | 2010 | 2011 |
In 2010, Procter & Gamble UK implemented Oracle OBIEE as the enterprise Analytics and BI platform supporting the STC Analytics environment. The deployment was managed by an International Leadership team responsible for IT and DevOps operations with more than 30 contractors, including developers, subject matter experts, service delivery managers, and change and release managers, and featured a CAB spread across three continents and four different time zones operating within an ITIL framework to sustain 24/7 operations.
Oracle OBIEE was configured to deliver enterprise reporting, interactive dashboards, semantic metadata modeling and scheduled report distribution for CXO and business consumers. The configuration supported consolidated reporting workflows and cataloged content to serve Research and Development, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing and Engineering, and it handled the orchestration of over 170 ETL processes feeding analytics outputs from more than 50 data sources.
Integrations were implemented with SAP and Oracle databases, SQL sources, Informatica PowerCenter for ETL orchestration, Control-M for job scheduling, and data layers including a data warehouse and Big Data components running on Microsoft Azure technology. Oracle OBIEE consumed transformed datasets from these systems and coexisted alongside visualization and analytics tooling such as Tableau, Power BI and Spotfire, while ServiceNow provided ITSM for incident, change and release coordination.
Operational governance emphasized a 24/7 service model with Service Delivery Managers and Change and Release Managers coordinating global support through the CAB, and ITIL-aligned processes supported by ServiceNow. DevOps and support personnel executed release control, change scheduling and continuous operational support across the multi-time zone footprint to maintain analytics availability.
The Oracle OBIEE implementation produced executive level reporting to CXO and business stakeholders, consolidating analytics across Research and Development, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing and Engineering from the integrated set of sources and ETL pipelines. Oracle OBIEE served as the central Analytics and BI application for Procter & Gamble UK within this operational and governance configuration.
