In 2017, RBC Wealth Management deployed Oracle PeopleSoft ERP within its Office of the CFO to consolidate finance operations for Global Asset Management Finance. Oracle PeopleSoft ERP serves as the ERP Financial platform for the Toronto, Ontario finance team and supports GAM-US reporting responsibilities.
The deployment centers on core financial modules, including the general ledger, journal processing, accounts receivable, revenue tracking and contract revenue allocation workflows consistent with ERP Financial capabilities. Financial analysts use Oracle PeopleSoft ERP to calculate and book monthly accounting journal entries, maintain monthly balance sheet reconciliations and perform financial statement analysis.
The application is used as the point of record for accounts receivable, revenue sharing and referral agreement accounting, and to support the annual audit process where analysts work directly with auditors. Operational coverage spans Global Asset Management Finance functions in Toronto and includes compliance with GAM-US policy, US GAAP and IFRS for recording, reporting and month end close activities.
Governance emphasizes reconciliations, supporting documentation and established close controls routed through PeopleSoft workflows under the Office of the CFO, with finance and business partners collaborating to streamline process execution. The implementation narrative focuses on configuration of standard ERP Financial processes and integration into existing finance operations.

| Infosys | Legacy | Infosys Finacle | Core Banking | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2021 | 2021 |
In 2021, RBC Wealth Management implemented Infosys Finacle as its Core Banking application to centralized finance and payments data flows for a US Cash Management Day 1 MVP effort. The Finacle deployment was positioned to source critical finance and payments data elements used by lines of business including RBC Capital Markets, RBC Wealth Management, AML, Fraud, and Enterprise Risk.
Infosys Finacle was configured to support finance and payment data mapping and orchestration, with specific work to identify new payment and finance related fields, reconcile duplicate field definitions, and standardize mappings. The program included mapping payment fields to ISO20022 formats, defining data catalog attributes in Collibra, authoring technical specifications and user stories in JIRA, and validating data via MS SQL queries to ensure the finance data ingested into Infosys Finacle matched downstream risk and reporting needs.
The implementation integrated Infosys Finacle data flows with payment processing and onboarding systems that were explicitly part of the initiative, namely VolPay for payments and Fenergo and MRD for client onboarding, and aligned inventory in Collibra for enterprise consumption. The solution design also referenced contingent workforce information flows sourced from Beeline into Registration Surveillance System to close data gaps, and supported downstream reconciliation of alert and issue data to Regulatory Compliance Management systems where required.
Governance and delivery used agile processes, with facilitated working groups between Finacle liaisons, payment and finance data experts, backlog grooming sessions, and technical tasking with data engineers. The rollout artifacts included a single repository of user stories and technical specifications, API process and JSON ingestion documentation, wireframes and UI mockups, QA and User Acceptance Testing coordination, PIV production testing guidance, sprint demos, release notes distribution, and sprint retrospectives to stabilize the ongoing delivery pipeline.
Operational scope centered on finance, payments, compliance, and risk functions across RBCCM and RBCWM, with Infosys Finacle serving as the Core Banking source for finance-related data used by AML, Fraud, Enterprise Risk, and contingent workforce management teams. The implementation emphasized data governance and traceable mappings rather than functional changes to downstream risk processes.
