In 2012, Rest Super implemented Oracle PeopleSoft ERP. The deployment targeted ERP Financial functions, centering on the PeopleSoft general ledger as the core financial accounting engine. The IT organization managed the program within a $15m annual operating budget and a team of six IT subject matter experts and senior business service professionals.
Configuration and modules included the PeopleSoft general ledger integrated with CALUMO financial business intelligence, providing an analytic feed for financial reporting and consolidation. The program also integrated Pivotal CRM data workflows related to change management, security framework and data management to maintain transactional consistency between member and financial systems. Implementation scope covered core financial accounting, BI feed orchestration, and data governance related workflows.
Governance and operational controls were reinforced through adoption of ITIL service management processes for incident, change and problem management and the creation of a Data Management and Security working group aligned to the Privacy Act and APRA Prudential Practice Guides CPG 234 and CPG 235. Delivery included discrete investments with reported values, notably the GL to CALUMO integration at approximately $500,000 and the Pivotal CRM integration at approximately $1.5m. Program reporting documented a 70 percent reduction in service desk error rate and calculated operating savings of approximately $700,000 with potential to reach $1M by the end of first quarter 2015.

In 2018, Rest Super implemented Frontier Software Chris21 Payroll to centralize core payroll operations. The deployment was scoped to support the People & Culture function and payroll teams, aligning the project with the Payroll application category and Rest Super's Australian employee base.
Frontier Software Chris21 Payroll was configured to manage core payroll processing, pay run orchestration, payslip generation, award and compliance rules consistent with Modern Awards and Fair Work, and employee lifecycle transactions including new hires, terminations, position and structure changes, leave administration and salary review support. The implementation also covered workers compensation administration and standard payroll reporting and scheduling capabilities used by payroll administrators.
The implementation was integrated into People & Culture operational workflows to accept employee personal data updates and pre boarding through HR records, supporting onboarding and offboarding transactions that feed payroll inputs. Operational coverage emphasized the People & Culture team based in Rest Sydney, New South Wales while servicing payroll needs for Rest Super's Australian workforce.
Governance around payroll execution was adjusted to embed payroll support within the People & Culture advisory model and to support a transition toward a tiered service delivery approach. The rollout included configuration of structured pay run schedules, report production and filing processes, and operational handoffs between payroll administrators and P&C advisors to sustain BAU and project activities.
