In 2019, Ruby Hotels implemented Shiji Daylight PMS, formerly Shiji Enterprise Platform, as their Hotel Property Management system. The cloud based Shiji Daylight PMS was adopted to centralize guest profiles, reservations, housekeeping, and core property management workflows across the Ruby Hotels group to support the brand's lean luxury positioning.
Deployment emphasized an API first architecture and modular configuration, with implemented modules for PMS, guest profile management, housekeeping, and group booking functionality. Ruby integrated Shiji Daylight PMS with Infrasys POS and Shiji Reviewpro Reputation to centralize reservation, guest feedback, and point of sale data, enabling consolidated invoicing and more consistent guest centric billing across rooms and event spaces.
Operational coverage included front office, revenue management, sales, housekeeping, and back of house processes across the group, using automation to share group booking details with revenue teams for pricing optimization. The platform's cloud architecture and APIs were used to link disparate data sets, support personalized guest experiences through centralized guest data, and enable proactive sales workflows using external data feeds.
Governance and rollout were led by Lucas Höfer as Group Director of Systems and Innovation Management, who centralized technology ownership and built a dedicated team to reduce siloed point solutions and scale integration efforts.
