Employees access leave information via PeopleSoft self-service, allowing viewing of vacation and sick leave balances and the single Personal Holiday granted each calendar year which expires if not used by December 31. Operational coverage centers on campus HR and payroll administration, with the application providing accrual computation, eligibility checks, and policy enforcement for Personal Holiday expiration. Governance and process standardization were achieved by configuring payroll rules and self-service visibility to ensure consistent leave accounting and employee access to balances.
