In 2018, Sanctuary Group implemented SAP ERP ECC 6.0 as the core ERP Financial backbone of its OneProperty programme. The deployment positioned SAP ERP ECC 6.0 on-premise and tied the ERP Financial ledger and asset data into a broader SAP landscape to support property maintenance, customer engagement, and reporting workflows.
The implementation focused on end-to-end property maintenance capabilities, with SAP Business Technology Platform used for bespoke application development and automation, and SAP Field Service Management orchestrating field execution. Functional capabilities implemented include self-service incident logging, automated incident diagnosis using BTP search and word recognition, planning and dispatch orchestration, asset and maintenance transaction recording in SAP ERP ECC 6.0, and customer satisfaction measurement through SAP Qualtrics.
Integrations were explicit and central to the architecture, connecting on-prem SAP ERP ECC 6.0 with SAP Field Service Management for real-time field operations, SAP Data Warehouse Cloud for enhanced data consolidation, and SAP Analytics Cloud for business reporting and dashboards. The integration topology provided a 360 degree operational view that bridged call centre staff, on-site maintenance teams, and customer facing channels, enabling real-time data flow across asset management and maintenance processes.
Governance and process changes accompanied the technical rollout to move teams from manual, paper-based and reactive workflows to a proactive operating model, with automated incident lifecycle management and real-time feedback loops. Outcomes called out in the programme materials include substantially faster incident raise to execution cycles, improved transparency for customers, and an operational platform designed to continually optimize processes through SAP Qualtrics and planned AI and machine learning enhancements.

| SAP | Legacy | SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Marketing | Candidate Relationship Management | HCM | n/a | 2022 | 2024 |
In 2022, Sanctuary Group implemented SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Marketing as a Candidate Relationship Management deployment to modernize talent attraction and candidate engagement. The program encompassed configuration and deployment of SuccessFactors Recruiting, Recruiting Marketing, and Onboarding solutions, and was led internally by a Sanctuary senior team lead for SF Recruiting, Onboarding and Integrations.
SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Marketing was configured to manage candidate pipelines, talent pools, and employer branding workflows, while SuccessFactors Recruiting handled requisition to hire workflows and candidate tracking. Onboarding solutions were implemented to automate preboarding tasks, document collection, and new hire onboarding checklists, and these modules were aligned to recruiting status transitions.
The Recruiting and Recruiting Marketing environments were integrated with Employee Central for position management and core HR data synchronization, and integrated with Onboarding to ensure candidate records transitioned into active employee profiles. Integrations relied on SuccessFactors integration patterns and position management mappings to link requisitions to Employee Central position structures, supporting recruiting and HR operations across the organization.
Governance was structured with centralized configuration ownership for Recruiting and Onboarding, and cross functional workflow orchestration between talent acquisition and HR operations to maintain data integrity between SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Marketing, SuccessFactors Recruiting, Onboarding solutions, and Employee Central. Role based access controls and change management processes were applied to align recruiting stages with EC position and employee lifecycle events.

In 2021, Sanctuary Group deployed SAP Field Service Management as part of its OneProperty transformation programme to modernize property maintenance and customer engagement within the Field Service Management category. The initiative targets property maintenance workflows across call centre operations, assets and maintenance teams, and on-site service delivery to provide a single operational model for maintaining affordable homes and community assets.
The implementation bundles SAP Field Service Management with SAP Business Technology Platform for bespoke application development and process automation, enabling automated incident capture, diagnosis, planning, dispatching and execution workflows. Functional capabilities implemented include a customer self-service incident portal, natural language search and word recognition services for accurate incident diagnosis, and machine learning enabled automation layered into the maintenance lifecycle.
Architecture and integrations center on process orchestration between on prem SAP ECC and SAP Field Service Management, with data consolidation into SAP Data Warehouse Cloud and business reporting surfaced in SAP Analytics Cloud. Customer feedback collection is instrumented through SAP Qualtrics to close the maintenance loop and inform continuous process refinement. The deployment emphasizes a proactive operating model that connects asset records, incident transactions and service execution for a 360 degree, near real time view of property condition.
Governance and operational change included restructuring workflows to move from paper based, reactive maintenance to an automated, instrumented process where incidents are raised digitally and routed for rapid execution. The proof of concept demonstrated accelerated incident lifecycle handling and improved transparency for customers, and SAP Field Service Management is used to deliver real time feedback to tenants and ongoing optimization through Qualtrics driven insights.
