In 2018 Saverglass deployed Sidetrade Augmented Cash as its AR Automation solution to centralize accounts receivable and cash application workflows across its finance organization. The Sidetrade Augmented Cash implementation positioned the application as the primary cash orchestration layer for receivables, linking collections, payments posting, and exception handling into a single AR Automation platform.
Configuration focused on standard AR Automation capabilities including automated cash application, configurable collections workflows, dispute and deductions tracking, and receivables reporting. The implementation emphasized configurable business rules and automation around matching, unapplied cash resolution, and prioritized collection actions to align with Saverglass finance operating procedures.
Integrations were implemented directly with SAP and a specific ERP environment, and tied into external exchange and EDI partners including Avanteam and EDICOM, plus CRM systems for collections context. Talend was used as the technical and functional interface engine to orchestrate batch and near real time data exchange between systems, supporting EDI flows and canonical data transformations into Sidetrade Augmented Cash.
Operational governance rested with internal IT project leadership who managed decision making, internal and external resources, and ongoing operation and corrective maintenance of scalable systems. The rollout reinforced centralized data exchange ownership for accounts receivable, with the IT team acting as technical and functional referent for Talend interfaces and for integrating Sidetrade Augmented Cash into Saverglass order to cash processes.

| SAP | Legacy | SAP HCM (HR) | Core HR | HCM | n/a | 2012 | 2012 |
In 2012 Saverglass implemented SAP HCM (HR) as its Core HR application. The implementation timeline included a formal build and cutover phase through December 2012 followed by an evolution and corrective maintenance engagement from January 2013 to August 2013 focused on stabilizing the HRWP+ portal and core HR interfaces.
The project delivered an HRWP+ portal architecture built on a SAP Java server and a Flex front end, with approximately 13 screens and over 1,000 BAPIs driving transactional logic. Core technical workstreams included ABAP development and corrections, PA and OM configuration, authorization management, iDoc handling and fixes, and portal ESS MSS functionality. Technical artifacts produced during the program included detailed technical specifications, test documents, and regression and scalability test scenarios.
The implemented landscape combined SAP HCM (HR) with a Portal ESS MSS layer and integration middleware components including JCo, BlazeDS and XML based interfaces, with SAPUI5, JavaScript, XSLT and Flex used on the presentation tier. Integration surface areas explicitly covered BAPI based backend calls, iDoc exchange and single sign on. Operational coverage targeted employee self service and manager self service workflows and involved HR functional teams and technical support for production operations.
Program governance relied on workshops for detailed design and needs analysis, iterative development with technical specification ramp up, and structured test and cutover assistance into production. The subsequent maintenance window provided corrective and evolutive support, addressing ABAP, PA, OM, authorizations, iDoc, Flex and Java anomalies while supporting ongoing test scenario development and production stabilization.

| Legacy | Avanteam BPM | Business Process Management | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2018 | 2018 |
In 2018 Saverglass implemented Avanteam BPM for Business Process Management to orchestrate EDI and decision making projects across its manufacturing IT landscape. The deployment was intended to centralize process orchestration and workflow automation for data exchange use cases connecting SAP and a specific ERP, aligning process ownership with IT project management.
Avanteam BPM was configured to deliver process modeling, workflow orchestration, automated exception handling, and scheduled processing consistent with Business Process Management functionality. Configuration emphasized document flow orchestration, approval routing, and operational rules to stabilize recurring EDI and data exchange processes.
Integrations were explicitly built with SAP, a specific ERP, Sidetrade, EDICOM, and CRM systems, while Talend served as the technical middleware for interface development and data transformation. The implementation handled EDI message exchange and structured data flows, positioning Avanteam BPM as the central coordination layer between transactional systems and external partners.
Governance designated a technical and functional referent responsible for data exchange interfaces, with IT project management directing internal and external resources, operation and corrective maintenance, and scalable systems oversight. Change control and interface ownership were embedded into IT processes to sustain EDI continuity and ongoing process orchestration.
