In 2022, SILVA Medical implemented SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting as the first phase of a broader HR digitalization program, addressing decentralized hiring practices and GDPR noncompliance across its three hospital locations in Brussels and Wallonia. The implementation targets the Recruiting,Applicant Tracking System category and was positioned to improve employer branding and candidate experience as part of an organizational effort to professionalize talent acquisition.
The project focused on the SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting module, deployed using a modular, step by step approach that allowed phased configuration and adoption. Functional workstreams formalized candidate intake, standardized vacancy publication and screening workflows, and established HR led initial qualification of applicants, shifting initial screening responsibilities from nursing departments to HR to improve efficiency and candidate coordination.
Operational coverage includes centralized HR recruitment operations across the Clinique du Bois de la Pierre in Wavre, Clinique de la Forêt de Soignes in La Hulpe, and Scheutbos Hospital and Residential Care Centre in Brussels, with direct handoffs to business departments for final selection. Implementation support is documented from SD Worx and project notes reference Adessa as guiding SILVA Medical toward SuccessFactors best practices, and the roadmap explicitly includes future rollout of SAP SuccessFactors Learning, Onboarding and SAP SuccessFactors Performance & Goals.
