The implementation included project management for HanseOrga and explicit configuration for cash and liquidity management modules. Working capital management capabilities were addressed within the Serrala FinanceSuite deployment, covering factoring, supplier finance and active working capital management, together with guarantee management and guarantee planning.
Functional scope also encompassed trade finance workflows for letters of credit and collections, and integration touchpoints with SAP related projects. Management of SAP initiatives included SEPA conversion, FX valuations, intercompany loans, cash pooling and fund transfer pricing, reflecting coordination between Serrala FinanceSuite automation and SAP financial processes.
Operational coverage extended into treasury system administration and cross-system orchestration, with administration of multicash, GPP and VWD market manager cited as part of the technical ecosystem. Program governance was led by a dedicated HR project manager from September 2019 to March 2023, providing central project control, milestone management, and coordination across HR stakeholders. Rollout was executed in phased waves across SPIE sites in Germany and Central Europe with a documented configuration change process and centralized master data controls. Operational ownership was assigned to HR operations and local HR teams supported by the key user network.
The implementation impacted core HR and HR operations functions, including HR administration, employee record management and personnel process orchestration. Governance retained centralized control of master data and changes while enabling local HR process execution.
