EaseUS Legacy EaseUS Todo Backup Backup as a Service (BaaS) IaaS n/a 2018 2018 In 2018 Talladega City Schools deployed EaseUS Todo Backup as a central Backup as a Service (BaaS) tool for endpoint and server protection across its district IT environment. The deployment targeted a mid sized K12 organization supporting roughly 70 employees and classroom devices, with hands on management by the district IT staff. EaseUS Todo Backup was configured for image based backups and workstation image deployment, and used to capture and restore system images as part of standard provisioning workflows. Operational configuration included scheduled backup scripts executed via task scheduler to automate user data protection and image refreshes on desktops and laptops. The implementation integrated scripted backups to Google Drive for user data preservation, and leveraged remote support and deployment tooling including TeamViewer, AnyDesk, PDQ Deploy, and QuickAssist to perform offsite and onsite restores and image pushes. Operational coverage extended to servers, virtual machines hosted in VMbox, classroom smartboards, and point of sale terminals where image deployment and backup routines were applied. Governance and operations were coordinated through an existing ticketing system to log and prioritize backup incidents, remote shutdown and restart procedures to enable maintenance windows, and scheduled task automation to enforce backup cadence. EaseUS Todo Backup was embedded into the district’s IT support workflows as the primary Backup as a Service (BaaS) application for routine image management and file level protection.
