The SAP S/4 HANA deployment focused on standard ERP Financial capabilities including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial close and controlling, with configuration and automation workstreams to align master data, posting rules and period end processes. SAP S/4 HANA user experience modernization was explicitly implemented using SAP Fiori and SAPUI5 to rationalize role based UIs and improve transaction and reporting workflows for finance and shared services.
Architecturally the implementation adopted a hybrid platform posture, integrating SAP S/4 HANA with SAP Business Technology Platform and SAP on Microsoft Azure for cloud extension and platform services, with explicit integration scenarios defined between on premise SAP systems and cloud components. Landscape and lifecycle management practices were applied to orchestrate system copies, transports and cutover activities across the broader 150 plus system footprint, maintaining operational continuity while enabling new S/4 HANA services.
Governance was formalized through technical standards, SAP Technical Security Baseline controls and roadmap driven change governance, with Proof of Concepts used to validate architectural options before rollout.
