The deployment integrated FIS GETPAID with the company ERP and Billtrust for upstream invoice and billing orchestration, and with credit card pin pads for customer card acceptance at stores. Operational coverage included training new associates how to use and navigate the ERP, FIS GETPAID and Billtrust, and how to process customer payments via the credit card pin pads, with support for answering questions and demonstrating shortcuts.
Governance and rollout centered on hands on training and mentoring, embedding operational coaching to help associates gain confidence and excel within the payments department. Functional workstreams focused on absence plan definitions, eligibility and accrual rules, absence request and approval routing, and automated handoffs between time tracking and payroll processes.
Deployment and operational coverage were organized through cross-functional collaboration among HR, Finance, and IS teams, with responsibilities for development, enhancement, upgrade and maintenance assigned to internal support and testing leads. The program included day to day support activities, testing and reporting leadership, and delivery of global business process design workshops to align absence processes with compensation and talent workflows.
Governance emphasized business process design and an ongoing maintenance cadence to sustain integrations between absence, time tracking and payroll, while reporting and testing roles were formalized to enforce consistency. Workday Absence Management was positioned as the companys Absence and Leave Management solution to support HR and Payroll business functions across the organization.
