In 2012, Tiger Group implemented Infor SunSystems as an ERP Financial application to consolidate accounting across its multi-property hotel operations. The project included design and implementation of Dell EMC servers and SAN storage with a VMware virtual infrastructure to host hotel applications and group financial services.
Infor SunSystems was configured to deliver core financial management capabilities, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and multi-entity accounting for hotel properties. Configuration work emphasized multi-property chart of accounts harmonization and centralized financial reporting to align property-level revenue and cost flows with group consolidation.
The implementation integrated Infor SunSystems with hotel operational systems, specifically Micros, Opera, and FMC, to automate transactional posting and reconciliation from point of sale and property management systems into the ERP Financial ledgers. Operational scope covered property-level operations and central finance teams, enabling transactional flows from front-office and F&B systems into the accounting stack.
Architecturally the solution was delivered on-premises, with Dell EMC servers and SAN storage virtualized using VMware to host Infor SunSystems alongside the hotel applications. Governance focused on standardized chart of accounts, intercompany posting rules, and workflow controls between property systems and central finance to support consistent accounting processes across the estate.
