In 2020, Toronto Transit Commission implemented IBM Maximo Application Suite as its Enterprise Asset Management solution for the Vehicle department, deploying Maximo to address asset tracking and warranty claims. The program managed the full life cycle implementation from inception through planning, execution, deployment and closing, and included procurement of equipment and coordination with multiple vendors for hands on deployment to business users. The IBM Maximo Application Suite deployment focused on core asset tracking and warranty claims functional workflows, with configuration of asset hierarchies, serialized equipment records, work order orchestration and warranty claim tracking. IBM Maximo Application Suite was established as the central Enterprise Asset Management platform for the Vehicle department, and the program concluded with Maximo deployed into production and operational support workflows transitioned to business owners.
