| Yooz Inc. | Legacy | Yooz AP Automation | AP Automation | ERP Financial Management | n/a | 2017 | 2017 |
In 2017, Transwest implemented Yooz AP Automation to centralize and automate accounts payable workflows across its Denver-based auto dealership group. The Yooz AP Automation deployment targeted the corporate branch first and expanded to four additional auto retail stores, covering a centralized AP team that processes more than 2,100 documents per month.
The implementation used the Yooz AP Automation end-to-end purchase-to-payment capability, including optical character recognition for invoice capture, cloud document storage for secure access, and workflow-driven approval routing to remove paper-based processing. The Yooz AP Automation application handled invoice ingestion, validation, approval orchestration, and electronic document retention, reducing reliance on physical file cabinets and third-party bolt-on services.
Yooz was selected in part because it integrated with Transwests CDK DMS environment as recommended by CDK, enabling a more complete P2P flow between dealership systems and accounts payable. The rollout plan executed at the corporate location first, then expanded to the other four stores after three months of stabilization, completing the full five-site implementation in six months.
Governance and process changes included centralizing AP for the auto retail group, increasing manager involvement and accountability in approvals, and training both tech-savvy and more traditional staff on new electronic workflows. Reported outcomes from the program were documents saved in the cloud with broader manager access and improved security, elimination of shredding and file cabinet storage, four hours shaved off the payment process, and cost avoidance from not shipping paper documents while maintaining a complete end-to-end P2P solution at a very reasonable cost without added charges for bolted-on software.

| CDK Global | Legacy | CDK Global DMS | Dealership Management | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2020 | 2020 |
In 2020 Transwest implemented CDK Global DMS to support service operations across its dealership network, with initial deployment focused on the Boyer Trucks location in Savage, MN and broader Transwest service teams. The CDK Global DMS deployment was positioned as the primary Dealership Management application for service and shop operations within the company.
Configuration centered on core service functionality of CDK Global DMS, including repair order management, warranty claim processing, technician time capture and review, labor pricing and estimate workflows, and service scheduling and advisor-facing work queues. The implementation also incorporated modules and workflows to support customer communications, fleet account management activities, and on-going training and certification tracking for service personnel, consistent with Dealership Management capabilities.
Operational integrations were implemented with Transwest administrative processes, including technician time reporting that feeds Payroll department submission workflows and supplier-facing warranty claim channels for timely warranty processing. The deployment covered the service department, service advisors, foremen and technicians at Boyer Trucks in Savage, MN and was aligned with Transwest human resources processes for hiring, background checks and benefits enrollment for service staff.
Governance and process changes accompanied the CDK Global DMS rollout, with the Service Manager role responsible for enforcing standardized shop processes, monitoring technician timekeeping and warranty timelines, and submitting reviewed timeclock reports to Payroll. Governance also included requirements for annual budgeting and marketing plans for the shop, ongoing staff training and safety oversight, and an explicit performance pay plan clause allowing Transwest to adjust manager incentives if defined duties are not met.
