The deployment established SAP ERP ECC 6.0 as the enterprise ERP Financial and transactional backbone while operating alongside SAP IBP and SAP APO for demand and supply planning. The implementation supported device and accessory planning teams to manage demand, supply, inventory, and store replenishment across hundreds of SKUs and more than a thousand stocking locations. Operational sales channels included direct to consumer, agents, company stores, national retailers, and B2B.
Configuration work emphasized core financial and inventory accounting capabilities within SAP ERP ECC 6.0, linking transactional finance to inventory valuation and procurement flows. The implementation included order to cash and procure to pay process orchestration consistent with an ERP Financial deployment, and standard master data consolidation to ensure consistent SKU, vendor, and site references. System configuration balanced financial transaction capture with the supply chain planning inputs required by downstream planning engines.
Integrations were explicitly implemented between SAP ERP ECC 6.0 and planning systems SAP IBP and SAP APO to exchange demand forecasts, supply plans, and inventory positions. Teams designed system enhancements for a new national retail sales channel and implemented SAP APO planning system components to support forecast model assessment and replenishment planning. Integration points focused on master data synchronization, demand and supply transfers, and inventory visibility across channels.
