Ansible Automation Platform was run in the same cloud environments as SAP S/4 HANA to enable direct deployment and maintenance at required scale. This architecture centralized orchestration for configuration management and accelerated incident response. As phase two progressed Ulta Beauty established communities of practice to connect workflows, embed an automation component into role definitions, and enable data-driven ROI assessment for automation projects. Phase three is planned to further institutionalize automation as the primary method for eliminating manual configuration management and deployment. Governance adjustments emphasized automation standards, repeatable playbooks, and role-level accountability for ongoing operational control.
