In 2018 University of Tasmania implemented TechnologyOne e-Invoicing as part of its AP Automation capability within the TechnologyOne Financials environment. The deployment was centered on accounts payable enquiry workflows used by UTAS Admin Officer roles, leveraging Supplier Transactions and Reference Number enquiry screens to locate invoices and attachments across supplier records and reference numbers.
TechnologyOne e-Invoicing supported core AP Automation functional capabilities including invoice search by supplier or invoice number, status filtering between Outstanding and All, and document type handling for APINV items. The solution exposed payment detail and transaction history screens that surface allocated amounts, EFT payment dates and transaction references, and provided workflow item visibility with statuses such as posted, issued and voided, enabling Accounts Payable staff to inspect workflow trails and scheduled or open workflow items. University of Tasmania TechnologyOne e-Invoicing AP Automation Business Function was therefore instrumented around invoice lifecycle, payment allocation, workflow auditing and enquiry-driven AP operations.

| Oracle | Legacy | Oracle PeopleSoft Absence Management | Absence and Leave Management | HCM | n/a | 2017 | 2017 |
In 2017, University of Tasmania deployed Oracle PeopleSoft Absence Management as part of a concentrated PeopleSoft HCM update program. The implementation aligns to the Absence and Leave Management category and built on an earlier cloud go-live of PeopleSoft HCM on release 9.2 8.54 in 2016, with the Phase 2 update delivered on Image HCM 22 and PT8.55 in October 2017.
The deployment used Selective Adoption to introduce functional capabilities including Recruiting Solutions, ePerformance, Fluid user interface enhancements, Time and Labor, Payroll, Absence Management, Self Service and casual timesheet and recruiting improvements. Oracle PeopleSoft Absence Management was configured alongside custom Fluid tiles that surface cheat sheets, FAQs and a reporting tile, enabling end users to access HR BI warehouse reports and operational guidance directly from the Fluid UI.
Integrations in scope included direct access to HR and BI warehouse reporting via the Fluid reporting tile and alignment with existing HR Payroll and Time and Labor processes, supporting academic and professional performance measurement workflows. The Phase 2 update delivered a large volume of features in approximately four months with a small project team, and subsequent changes to ePerformance templates in February 2018 adjusted how Academic and Professional positions are measured.
Governance and rollout emphasized lean change management, a commitment to standard functionality where possible, and a cadence of two Selective Adoption rounds per year. The project was delivered on budget and on time with Presence of IT, now part of Deloitte, as the implementation partner, customer satisfaction reported as overall promising, and a move toward automated testing using the PeopleSoft Test Framework for future updates.

| Corporate Travel Management | Locomote Booking Platform | CTM Lightning | Reservation and Booking Management | ERP Services and Operations | n/a | 2023 | 2023 |
In 2023 University of Tasmania implemented CTM Lightning as its Reservation and Booking Management application. The deployment replaced the Locomote Booking Platform and established CTM Lightning as the centralised booking channel for travel paid for in part or in full by the University.
CTM Lightning deployment is configured to support online bookings through CTM Travel's Lightning Tool and offline bookings managed by CTM travel consultants, with operational capabilities for itinerary changes and 24 hour real time traveller support. Functional modules referenced in the procedure include online booking workflows, consultant assisted booking workflows, traveller assistance and country travel risk advice, each positioned to handle University approved travel and study related travel scenarios.
The implementation operates within a centralised process architecture where the contracted Travel Management Company, CTM Travel, acts as the booking agent for University of Tasmania travel. The system scope explicitly covers University council members, staff, students, volunteers, visitors, guests and contractors when travel is University funded, and the procedure notes students and guests who self pay may optionally use the TMC service while bookings for students on arranged University courses must be made through the TMC.
Governance for CTM Lightning is anchored in the University Travel Services intranet guidance and the People and Wellbeing, Safety and Wellbeing Team directives, which can override components of the travel procedure. The University retains decision authority over travel appropriateness and centralised booking control, while CTM Lightning provides the operational booking platform and mandatory agent support for University funded travel.
