University of Tasmania TechnologyOne e-Invoicing AP Automation Business Function was therefore instrumented around invoice lifecycle, payment allocation, workflow auditing and enquiry-driven AP operations.

The system scope explicitly covers University council members, staff, students, volunteers, visitors, guests and contractors when travel is University funded, and the procedure notes students and guests who self pay may optionally use the TMC service while bookings for students on arranged University courses must be made through the TMC. Governance for CTM Lightning is anchored in the University Travel Services intranet guidance and the People and Wellbeing, Safety and Wellbeing Team directives, which can override components of the travel procedure. The University retains decision authority over travel appropriateness and centralised booking control, while CTM Lightning provides the operational booking platform and mandatory agent support for University funded travel.
