Functional implementations mirrored existing operational practices of creating and maintaining master purchase orders for 33 raw materials, scheduling quarterly and annual price updates, defining order volumes and durations, and capturing release details such as date, time, volume and price for DOA signature authorization. The implementation also established master data management for raw material specifications and built reporting views to document quarterly volumes per raw material and supplier allocation logic.
Operational design incorporated insights from prior workstreams that used Cimpro for Harrisburg MPO management and Protean for PO creation and purchasing at Atlanta, Augusta, Jessup and Los Angeles, and those processes informed the X3 PO release and supplier split tracking configuration. Governance changes focused on centralizing MPO ownership, translating spreadsheet-based MPO trackers into ERP tables and views, standardizing raw material specifications across sites, and codifying supplier allocation rules into quarterly reporting workflows.
Venator Sage Business Cloud X3 ERP Financial therefore serves procurement, purchasing and inventory control across the cited facilities, with implemented controls for DOA-driven release authorization, master purchase order lifecycle management, and site-aligned raw material specification governance.
