In 2016, VenuesWest implemented Oracle Cloud ERP and established Oracle Cloud ERP as its primary ERP Financial application to centralize finance, procurement and accounts processing. The implementation anchored finance operations within a single vendor platform and positioned the system at the center of cash management, accounts payable and accounts receivable workflows.
Functional deployment emphasized core financial modules, including Cash Management for bank statement reconciliation, Accounts Payable for invoice processing and matching against receipts, Accounts Receivable for customer account follow up and reconciliation, and General Ledger for journal compilation and posting. Procurement capabilities were configured to support requisition creation, purchase order generation and receipting, and credit card processing workflows included downloading and processing VISA files into the Oracle Financial System for payment preparation.
Operational integration included explicit use of CommBiz for payment authorisation of Accounts Payable and Payroll, and routine use of Microsoft Excel as a preparatory tool for journal compilation before input into Oracle. The implementation covered finance and procurement teams at VenuesWest in Australia and supported day to day transactional activities such as cheque processing, bank reconciliations and receipting of purchase orders.
Governance and workflow controls were defined around invoice validation, payment authorisation via CommBiz, segregation of duties between requisitioning and authorisation, and documented journal posting procedures, with staff responsibilities reflecting these system-supported controls. Configuration and process work focused on aligning operational tasks performed by finance officers to Oracle Cloud ERP transactional modules and approval workflows.

In 2022, VenuesWest implemented the Blueforce Video Management System to consolidate video operations across its Perth venues. The deployment is classified as a Video Surveillance System and was scoped to centralise live monitoring, incident handling, and operator workflows for venue security teams.
The Blueforce Video Management System implementation delivered core VMS capabilities including unified camera management, central operator consoles, event and alarm correlation, and workflow automation consistent with Video Surveillance System functionality. The program combined Blueforce orchestration and user-facing VMS features with an enterprise-grade recording platform, with multiple venue VMS instances migrated onto Milestone XProtect as the consolidated recording and playback engine.
Integrations were a primary focus, with Blueforce integrating CCTV camera feeds, access control event streams, and automated alarm systems into the central VMS platform to create a single security operations view. The integrated environment routed camera video, access events, and alarm signals into centralized monitoring to support unified incident workflows and situational awareness across multiple VenuesWest sites.
Blueforce acted as systems integrator for the rollout, consolidating and migrating disparate venue video platforms while provisioning the Blueforce Video Management System for centralised security operations. Implementation work included reconfiguring operator workflows and central monitoring processes to support a unified security operations centre and venue security teams.
