Oracle Legacy Oracle E-Business Suite ERP Financial ERP Financial Management Sify Technologies 2017 2017
In 2017, Visaka Industries upgraded Oracle E-Business Suite to the latest release to address an increasing administrative burden on its on-premise ERP environment. The implementation concentrated on modules identified as critical to business continuity, specifically Financial, Purchasing, Inventory and Order Management. The Oracle E-Business Suite rollout delivered core ERP Financial capabilities across finance and procurement processes, while preserving order-to-cash and inventory control workflows. Configuration work included module-level upgrades and standardization of financial ledgers, procurement controls, inventory valuation and order management transaction flows to align with the new EBS release. Sify Technologies executed the project and provisioned Oracle E-Business Suite on Amazon Web Services Elastic Compute Cloud EC2 infrastructure sized to client workloads, with auto-scaling enabled to handle variable demand. The deployment architecture placed E-Business Suite on EC2 compute instances and leveraged AWS infrastructure patterns for scalability and operational management of the ERP application. Operational scope covered finance, procurement, inventory and order operations within Visaka Industries, with the upgrade initiated as a governance-driven effort to move to the supported EBS release and reduce ongoing maintenance overhead associated with the previous on-premise configuration. Oracle E-Business Suite remains the central ERP Financial application for the affected business functions.
